Biography

Teresa Wang is a Senior Research Fellow at Monash University within the Faculty of Information Technology. With a robust academic background, she obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science and has a strong foundation in Software Engineering from Nanjing University. Teresa has previously worked as a post-doctoral research fellow in the Data Knowledge Engineering (DKE) Group at the University of Queensland. Her research mainly focuses on entity and user modeling, relational and structural spatial/temporal machine learning, graph and network construction analysis, and recommender systems. She is particularly interested in the modeling of social data, eCommerce data, and health/medical data. Teresa also directs the Master of Data Science Program at Monash and teaches machine learning courses. She is an active contributor to various research projects and collaborations in her field, having initiated multiple projects aimed at enhancing data-driven decision-making and personalization in various applications.
