Biography

Terri Huynh, M.D., is passionate about promoting the health of women and providing compassionate care at the highest standards. She utilizes skills in advanced laparoscopy and robotic surgery, with clinical expertise that covers fibroids, adenomyosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, and endometriosis. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006, she pursued her medical degree at the Yale School of Medicine and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Following her residency, she completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Christiana Care in Newark, Delaware, where she remained on the faculty before returning to Yale in 2020. Recognized as a leader in her field, she serves as the interim division director for the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and is dedicated to championing medical education as the clerkship director for the OBGYN clerkship. Dr. Huynh is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and her research interests include the management of gynecologic emergencies, abnormal uterine bleeding, and curriculum development for non-technical skills simulation.
