Dr. Teviah Sachs

Biography

Teviah Sachs, MD, MPH, is an Associate Professor at Boston University's Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, specializing in Surgical Oncology. He serves as the Chief of the Section of Surgical Oncology at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Sachs obtained his medical degree from New York Medical College, and completed a residency in General Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center affiliated with Harvard Medical School. He furthered his training with a fellowship in Surgical Oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is board-certified in General Surgery and Complex General Surgical Oncology by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Sachs's clinical interests encompass the treatment of hepatic, biliary, pancreatic, and gastric diseases, as well as soft tissue malignancies and skin cancers. His research background is rooted in clinical effectiveness, focusing on surgical outcomes and disparities in surgical education. Dr. Sachs has been involved in multiple research initiatives and has contributed substantially to the field through various publications.
