Biography

Tharsika Pakeerathan Srirajan is a Postdoctoral researcher at Aarhus University specializing in machine learning techniques, with a strong focus on explainable AI methods. Her research aims to enhance the decision-making process in the wind energy sector, specifically during the early phases of wind turbine project planning. By integrating explainable AI with traditional machine learning methods, Tharsika seeks to address challenges related to the imbalance of machine learning applications across different project phases. In addition to her research responsibilities, she is actively involved in teaching Master's courses, where she strives to create an engaging learning environment that encourages students to tackle complex subjects with confidence. Tharsika supervises Master's theses and semester projects, particularly in areas related to data-driven decision-making and software development, and contributes to a variety of courses that incorporate her expertise in machine learning and software development.
