Theodor Meron is a leading scholar in international humanitarian law, human rights, and international criminal law. He serves as a Judge and has authored a dozen books on international law and chivalry, as well as more than a hundred articles that helped build the legal foundations of international criminal tribunals. Meron is a member of the Institute of International Law and the Council on Foreign Relations, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts.
