Dr. Theodora Danciu

Biography

Theodora Elena Danciu is a Clinical Professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, specializing in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology. She graduated with a BA in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, and obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Harvard University. Furthering her education, she completed a Doctor of Medical Sciences degree with a certificate in Oral Maxillofacial Pathology. Before joining the University of Michigan in 2007, she served as an Instructor at Harvard. Throughout her career, Danciu has received numerous teaching and research awards, including the National Research Service Award and the National Institute of Health Transition Career Development Award. She is actively involved in various committees within the School of Dentistry and professional organizations, including the American Academy of Oral Maxillofacial Pathology, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Dental Research.
