Biography

Theresa Kuhn is a Full Professor in the Capacity Group of European Studies at the University of Amsterdam and serves as the academic director of the Amsterdam Center of European Studies (ACES). She has previously held roles as an associate professor of political science at the University of Amsterdam and as a postdoctoral research fellow at Nuffield College, University of Oxford, as well as at Freie Universität Berlin. Theresa Kuhn received her PhD from the European University Institute in Florence in 2011. Her research primarily utilizes survey research and experimental methods to explore how citizens respond to globalization, European integration, political attitudes, and collective identities. Her work has garnered several accolades including the UACES Book Prize for her book "Experiencing European Integration: Transnational Lives and European Identity" published by Oxford University Press in 2015. She was also awarded the CES Carolina de Miguel Moyer Young Scholar Award for her significant contributions to the interdisciplinary study of Europe.
