Biography

Theresa S. Mayer is the Vice President for Research at Carnegie Mellon University, where she leads the university's research enterprise and advocates for the role that science, technology, and innovation play both nationally and globally. She holds joint faculty appointments in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Materials Science and Engineering within the College of Engineering.
