Biography

Thomas joined the Saïd Business School in 2025. He served as a Senior Research Scientist at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, an audit regulator, and was an Associate Professor at Columbia University. He is a graduate of Ecole Normale Superieure de Paris-Saclay and Science-Po Paris, holding a PhD in management science from HEC Paris. Thomas' research lies at the intersection of accounting, law, and economics. He is engaged academically as a director of research and a member of the European Corporate Governance Institute, as well as a research fellow at the Millstein Centre at Columbia Law School and an International Research Fellow at the Sustainability & Organizations Institute at HEC Paris. Currently, Thomas teaches financial reporting and sustainability reporting in both MBA and Executive MBA programs.
