Biography

Thomas Comerford is a musician, songwriter, and filmmaker who has been actively teaching media arts production since 1997. He specializes in experimental and non-fiction music video forms and has showcased his work at various festivals and venues, including the Locarno International Film Video Festival and community media centers across the United States. In 1999, Comerford relocated to Chicago, where he began teaching film, video, and audio production along with media studies at several institutions, including the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, DePaul University, Harold Washington College, and Columbia College.
