Biography

Thomas D Denucci is a Clinical Associate Professor Emeritus of Medicine at Brown University, where he has spent his entire academic career. He completed his medical education at Brown Alpert Medical School and went on to undergo an Internal Medicine residency and a Gastroenterology fellowship. Over the span of 25 years, he worked as a Gastroenterologist in private practice while maintaining his faculty appointment at Brown. He has returned to academic practice in Gastroenterology and continues to be involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. He serves as the Medical Director of the Endoscopy Center at Rhode Island Hospital. His clinical interests include Colorectal Cancer Screening and Quality Assurance in Endoscopy. Dr. Denucci has also been active in the design and management of Ambulatory Endoscopy Centers. Apart from his professional pursuits, he enjoys saltwater fishing, shell fishing, carpentry, and collecting vintage medicine bottles.
