Dr. Thomas Flynn

Biography

Thomas E Flynn, MD, is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He specializes in Uveitis and has extensive training and experience in the field. Dr. Flynn completed his MD at George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences in 1986. He underwent an internship at Providence Hospital Medical Center, followed by a residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He further honed his expertise with fellowships at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University and again at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. His academic and clinical work focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of various ophthalmic conditions, particularly inflammatory eye diseases. Dr. Flynn is affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where he contributes to patient care and education.
