Biography

Shortly after receiving his Ph.D. in numerical analysis from the University of Wisconsin, Tom moved to the Pacific Northwest to begin a 35-year career at Boeing Company. He worked on many challenging applied mathematics problems before retiring in late 2020. He is delighted to have the opportunity to share applied real-world problems with students at the University of Washington.
