Biography

Thomas Huber received his Diploma in Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich and completed his PhD at ETH Zurich. He has held positions in physical chemistry at ETH Zurich (1997), worked at the Supercomputer Facility at Australian National University (1998-2000), and served in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Queensland from 2001 to 2005, followed by a role in the School of Molecular Bioscience at the University of Queensland from 2006 to 2010. In 2010, he moved to ANU as an ARC Future Fellow until 2014 and was subsequently appointed as a Professor in the Research School of Chemistry. His research interests focus on Protein Structure Dynamics and Electron/Nuclear Paramagnetic Resonance, where he leads various projects involving non-canonical amino acids and drug discovery techniques. Huber actively supervises research students and contributes significantly to his field through collaboration and innovative research.
