Biography

Thomas Hudson is an Associate Professor at the University of Warwick, specializing in applied mathematics with a particular focus on micromechanics of materials. His research involves the analysis of partial differential equations (PDE), calculus of variations, asymptotic methods, scaling limits, thermodynamic limits, and the discrete-to-continuum limit processes. He has substantial experience in homogenization, coarse-graining, and averaging techniques.
