Biography

Thomas Joyce is an Assistant Professor of Criminology and Criminal Law at Tilburg University. His primary research focuses on illegal markets, having completed his PhD in Criminology at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, where his research concentrated on darknet drug markets. Throughout his career, Joyce has studied, taught, and conducted research in several countries including France, Czech Republic, Spain, Japan, and Italy, while being a native of Ireland and currently residing in the Netherlands.
