Biography

Thomas Konia is a Health Sciences Clinical Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and Dermatology at the University of California, Davis. His clinical responsibilities span general surgical cytopathology with specialty coverage in pulmonary, gynecological, pediatric, and soft tissue services. His current research interests focus on the prognostic role of CD-44 variant isoforms in primary lung carcinoma. His extensive training and experience in pathology and dermatopathology make him a well-regarded expert in these fields.
