Biography

Thomas Peeters is an Associate Professor at the Erasmus School of Economics (ESE), specializing in Applied Economics. He serves as the Director of the Department of Applied Economics and coordinates activities at the Erasmus Center for Applied Sports Economics (ECASE). Peeters is a research fellow at the Tinbergen Institute and a member of the Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM). He has been recognized for his contributions to open science and research dissemination, receiving multiple awards from ERIM, including the 2023 Open Science Award and the 2022 Top Article Award. In 2019, he was honored with the Societal Impact Award for his significant impact on research dissemination.
