Biography

Thomas Romeas is an associate professor at the School of Optometry at the University of Montreal, where he leads the Research Innovation Department at the National Institute of Sport of Quebec, a national Olympic and Paralympic training center. As a performance scientist, Thomas specializes in skill acquisition, cognition, vision, and psychology. Actively engaging in research endeavors, Thomas drives innovation, informs professional practice, and advances knowledge in high-performance sports. He obtained his Ph.D. in Vision Neurosciences from the University of Montreal and further developed his expertise through a postdoctoral fellowship in Software Engineering and Information Technology at the École de technologie supérieure and CF Montreal Academy.
