Biography

Tiana Caccetta is a PhD Candidate in the School of Psychological Science at The University of Western Australia. Her research primarily focuses on enhancing self-report screening measures for co-occurring obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) symptoms in autistic adults. Tiana is supervised by Dr. Lauren Taylor and has collaborated with Professor Ailsa Russell from the Centre for Applied Autism Research at the University of Bath. Her PhD research is supported by the Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship (which includes a fee offset and stipend) and the Westpac Future Leaders Scholarship. She holds a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours from the same university, awarded on July 23rd, 2021. Tiana's research interests include Autism, mental health and well-being, the intersection of OCD and autistic adult outcomes, as well as the diagnosis and classification of psychiatric disorders.
