Tiffany G. Harris is an experienced epidemiologist and public health leader with over 20 years of expertise in research, surveillance, program implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and data dissemination. She currently serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at Columbia University, where she has co-led the Epidemiology of Infectious Diseases course since 2016. Prior to her role at Columbia, she was the Director of Strategic Information at ICAP at Columbia University from 2015 to 2021, where she oversaw key activities related to epidemiology, monitoring and evaluation, and health information systems. Harris has been the principal investigator for four CDC-funded projects that support strategic information and epidemiological initiatives in Africa. Before joining ICAP, she spent nine years at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, where she held the position of Assistant Commissioner overseeing the Bureau of Epidemiology Services from 2011 to 2015, and managed the surveillance of tuberculosis from 2007 to 2011. She holds a Master of Science and a Doctorate in epidemiology from the University of Washington.
