Tim Horeman is an associate professor in Sustainable Surgery & Translational Technology and Academic Portfolio Director for Medical Technology at Delft University of Technology. Tim received the Dutch Engineer of the Year award in 2016 for his contributions to healthcare, and has been elected to the Tech Committee of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery in both 2018 and 2022. His accolades include multiple research grants and innovation awards in the field of medical technology.
