Biography

Tim Leiner is a cardiovascular radiologist at the Utrecht University Medical Center in the Netherlands. He received his M.D. from Maastricht University Medical School in 2000 and subsequently earned his Ph.D. in 2002. Before his doctoral studies, he spent 18 months as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Cardiac MR Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School in Boston under the supervision of Dr. Warren Manning. He completed his residency in Radiology at Maastricht University Medical Center and undertook a three-month fellowship at the Vascular Imaging Laboratory at the University of Washington in Seattle. His primary research interests revolve around the development and implementation of new cardiovascular MR and CT techniques. Dr. Leiner is an active faculty member and has participated in the organization of annual conferences related to his field.
