Biography

Tim Whitmarsh is the Regius Professor of Greek at the University of Cambridge and has held notable positions including A.G. Leventis Professor of Greek Culture at Cambridge and Professor of Ancient Literatures at the University of Oxford. His research prominently focuses on Ancient Greek Literature, Greek Religion, the interplay of Greek Culture during the Roman Empire, and Late Antique and Byzantine Literature.
