Biography

I specialize in the care of critically ill patients, with a focus on critical care anesthesia and transport services. My experience allows me to provide high-risk anesthesia services across a wide variety of adult patients. My clinical focus includes intensive care units and operating rooms. I currently serve as the Medical Director for Critical Care Transport at Stanford Life Flight, where I enhance the capabilities of emergency patient transport. I hold multiple board certifications, including in Anesthesia and Critical Care Medicine and completed my medical education and PhD in Pharmacology at the University of Michigan. My research interests involve the sympathetic nervous system's functions and their regulatory mechanisms, especially focusing on the modulation of norepinephrine release in various disease states. I am actively engaging in clinical trials aimed at evaluating novel sedation techniques to enhance patient comfort during procedures, demonstrating a commitment to advancing both clinical practices and research.
