Biography

Timothy R. Donahue is a Professor in the Department of Surgery and the Department of Molecular & Medical Pharmacology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He serves as the Chief of the Division of Surgical Oncology and the Vice Chair of Surgical Cancer Care. Donahue holds the Gary Shandling Chair in Pancreatic Surgery. He is responsible for generating human-derived pancreatic resources at UCLA, notably a primary human tumor xenograft model, primary cell organoid cultures, and a well-annotated repository of human pancreatic cancer specimens.
