Biography

Timothy Peace joined the University of Glasgow as an LKAS Fellow in July 2017, after serving as a Lecturer in Comparative Politics at the University of Stirling. He completed his PhD in Social Political Science at the European University Institute (EUI) in 2010 and has held postdoctoral positions at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), the University of Edinburgh, and the University of Padova under a Marie Curie Fellowship. His research interests primarily focus on Comparative European Politics, with key areas including Religion and Politics, Social Movements, Political Activism, Migration and Integration, Racism and Antisemitism, and the rise of Populist parties and the far-right in Europe, particularly in the UK, France, and Italy. He has both led research projects and collaborated with various institutions on topics related to migration and integration. Timothy is involved in supervising potential PhD students who wish to propose research on these relevant subjects.
