Dr. Timothy Rapp

Biography

Timothy B. Rapp is an Associate Professor at NYU Langone Health specializing in Musculoskeletal Oncology and Orthopedics. He has dedicated his career to treating a wide range of conditions related to bone and soft tissue tumors, including sarcomas and metastatic diseases. Rapp utilizes a multidisciplinary approach at NYU Langone’s Perlmutter Cancer Center, collaborating closely with plastic and reconstructive surgeons, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient. Beyond patient care, he is passionate about education, dedicating time to teach medical students and residents at NYU School of Medicine. His teaching excellence was recognized when he received the Teacher of the Year award in 2012. Rapp's clinical expertise is complemented by board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, ensuring he remains at the forefront of orthopedic surgical practices. He completed his MD at the University of Iowa and furthered his specialized training in orthopedic oncology through a fellowship at the University of Washington.
