Biography

Tina Funge is an Associate Professor in the School of Built Environment at the University of New South Wales, with over 20 years of experience as a front-end construction lawyer. She has held corporate positions in top-tier private practices and served as in-house legal counsel for some of Australia's largest construction companies. Throughout her career, Tina has managed legal risks across the entire life cycle of construction infrastructure projects, contributing to a diverse range of sectors, including transport, health, education, defense, water, commercial, energy, mining, oil and gas, as well as residential waste. She is an active participant in sharing knowledge with peers and is a regular contributor to the Society of Construction Law Australia, having received the Highly Commended Brooking Prize multiple years in a row. Currently, Tina is undertaking her PhD, focusing on infrastructure contracting.
