Biography

Tina Harrison is a Professor of Financial Services Marketing at the University of Edinburgh Business School. She joined the university in 1993 as a lecturer in Marketing. Tina's background includes a DipM from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a DipMRS from the Market Research Society, a BA (Hons) from Huddersfield, and a PhD from UMIST. Her research focuses on financial services marketing, consumer behavior, and loyalty in relation to financial wellbeing and the effective use of technology for financial management. She has led significant funded research projects, including an ESRC project on the impact of the internet on pensions and the development of educational tools in financial literacy for schools. Tina has co-edited and authored works in her field and served as the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Financial Services Marketing for 17 years until 2019. Currently, she plays an active role in quality assurance at the national level and has contributed to the development of quality assurance processes in higher education, particularly in Kosovo. Additionally, she is involved in developing tools and interventions aimed at enhancing financial decision-making among consumers.
