Biography

Tingting Bi obtained her PhD from Monash University in 2022, where she was fortunate to be mentored by Professor John Grundy, Associate Professor Aldeida Aleti, and Dr. Xin Xia. She joined the University of Western Australia as an Adjunct Lecturer and is also a research scientist at Data61, CSIRO. Her research interests are primarily focused on Software Architecture, Empirical Software Engineering, Responsible Artificial Intelligence, and Knowledge Engineering. She is particularly fascinated by the role that knowledge-based engineering plays in eliciting requirements and designing systems that integrate human expertise. In addition to her research, Tingting actively participates as a Program Committee member and reviewer for esteemed software engineering journals and conferences, including Transactions on Software Engineering, ACM Transactions on Software Engineering and Methodology, and International Conference on Software Engineering. She is consistently looking out for dedicated PhD students interested in collaboration and is keen to explore opportunities in her research areas.
