Dr. Tito Vasquez

Biography

Dr. Vasquez is a board-certified Plastic Surgeon and Assistant Professor in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Yale School of Medicine with special interests in aesthetic surgery and cancer trauma reconstruction. He completed his general surgery residency, followed by an independent plastic surgery residency and an orthopaedic hand upper extremity fellowship. He has served as a U.S. Navy Battalion Surgeon and previously held the position of Past President of the Medical Staff at Bridgeport Hospital. Dr. Vasquez is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), having served on various professional committees. He is well-known in the greater Fairfield community for his excellent patient outcomes and low complication rates, characterized by his honesty and compassion towards patients. His aesthetic surgery expertise includes facial rejuvenation, breast enhancements, body contouring, and various non-surgical rejuvenation techniques. He continuously seeks to learn new approaches in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, notable for his incorporation of advanced technologies such as Vaser ultrasound-assisted liposuction. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Vasquez actively participates in numerous local and national committees, highlighting his commitment to the field. He has been recognized with the Teacher of the Year award for 2024 in the plastic surgery division and included in Castle Connolly Medical Ltd.'s lists of Top Doctors in multiple years.
