Professor Toby Richards holds the Lawrence Brown Chair in Vascular Surgery at the University of Western Australia (UWA) and is the Head of the Division of Surgery. Recently, Richards led efforts to develop a platform for COVID-related research across five metropolitan health care systems in Western Australia. He has been a prominent speaker at 75 international conferences in the last five years and serves on several boards related to clinical trials and patient blood management. Professor Richards is active in promoting quality collaborations and enhancing support for clinical trials at UWA.
