Biography

Todd Borlik received his Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Washington. He is currently an Assistant Teaching Professor in the College of Liberal Arts at Purdue University. Previously, he served as a Professor of Shakespeare Studies at the University of Huddersfield in the UK. His research focuses on early British literature, pre-history environmentalism, magic science, energy, bioethics, and adaptation. Borlik has contributed significantly to the field with authorship of multiple books and over thirty articles and book chapters, particularly in the realm of Shakespeare studies. He has been an invited speaker at prestigious venues such as Shakespeare’s Globe, the University of Oxford, the Folger Shakespeare Library, and BBC Radio 3. His recent publications include 'Shakespeare Green World' and the introduction to the Oxford World’s Classics edition of 'The Winter’s Tale', which he co-edited.
