Todd Brun received his Ph.D. in Physics from the California Institute of Technology in 1994. He has worked at the University of London, Institute of Theoretical Physics, Santa Barbara, and Carnegie Mellon University, as well as the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. He joined the faculty of the University of Southern California (USC) in 2003 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2006 and Full Professor in 2013. He also served as a Senator in the USC Academic Senate for the Viterbi School of Engineering and has held significant roles in the American Physical Society's Division of Quantum Information.
