Biography

Todd Lynch is a Lecturer at UCLA Architecture and Urban Design, specializing in Professional Practice, Construction, and Sustainable Design. He serves as the Architect Licensing Advisor, helping students and alumni prepare for the Architect Registration Examination. Additionally, he organizes an annual Career Fair and advises several student organizations, including the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Students. As a Principal Project Planner and Green Building Specialist at UCLA Capital Programs, Todd enforces the UC Sustainability Policy, contributing to campus-wide LEED certification efforts, having completed 47 certifications including 16 at Platinum level. He is an active member of the UCLA Sustainability Committee and the UC-wide Green Buildings Working Group and sits on the Board of the USGBC-Los Angeles Chapter. Todd is also a founding partner of Sharif, Lynch: Architecture, an award-winning practice focused on sustainable residential and commercial projects in Southern California. Before joining UCLA in 2009, he worked on notable projects such as the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia and Seattle City Hall.
