Biography

Todd Morrison graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, CT with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He served as a research coordinator at the Center for Hip & Knee Replacement at Columbia University Medical Center and New York Presbyterian Hospital. Subsequently, he pursued his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA, completing his Orthopaedic internship and residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. Before returning to Connecticut in 2019, he completed a fellowship in Adult Hip & Knee Reconstruction at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa, FL, where he received sub-specialty training in innovative surgical techniques such as robotic-assisted joint replacement and direct anterior total hip replacement. Morrison treats degenerative conditions like hip and knee osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and avascular necrosis, with a focus on complex joint replacement and preservation procedures. In addition to his clinical practice, he is passionate about research and has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, conducted outcomes research, and examined biomechanical properties of joint replacements. He enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid runner, skier, and guitar player.
