Biography

Todd Andrew Rosenthal is a Chicago-based set designer and educator. He has an extensive portfolio that includes Broadway productions such as 'August: Osage County' which earned him a Tony Award, and 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?' which received a Tony Award for Revival. His Off-Broadway credits include 'Red Light Winter' and 'Domesticated'. He has contributed to over 30 productions at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company and has collaborated with notable institutions such as the Goodman Theatre and the Guthrie Theatre. An international recognition highlights his design work in London's West End and Sydney Theatre Company. In addition to theatrical design, Rosenthal founded the exhibition design firm XL Scenic and has developed numerous museum exhibitions, including 'Mythbusters: Explosive Exhibition' and 'Sherlock Holmes'. His accolades include the Laurence Olivier Award and several nominations for the American Theatre Wing Henry Hewes Design Awards. He is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama with an MFA in Set/Lighting Design.
