Biography

Tom Aben is an Assistant Professor in the Operations Management Group at Warwick Business School. He received his PhD in Supply Chain Management from Tilburg University. Prior to his PhD, he earned an MSc in Supply Chain Management from Tilburg University. Before joining Warwick Business School, Tom worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Tilburg University. Specifically, he is interested in how organizations implement and adopt new digital technologies, the influence of digital transformations on buyer-supplier relationships, and the role of networks of actors in digital transformation across sectors. Tom integrates primary research in the field of supply chain management with insights from the information systems field, particularly in healthcare operations.
