Biography

Tom Hafen currently serves as Vice President of Marketing Communications at Goldman Sachs, where he leads consumer communications for Marcus by Goldman Sachs. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Hafen was Head of Marketing for National Growth Brands at Nestlé Waters USA. He has extensive experience in marketing, having previously led the marketing for the Gerber Infant Formula Business at Nestlé and managed the Iams pet care brand at Procter & Gamble. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in leading U.S. marketing for tablets and phones at Microsoft and contributed to the Winnie the Pooh brand at the Walt Disney Corporation. Apart from his corporate endeavors, Hafen is a lecturer on Management at Yale University's School of Management and serves as an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at Columbia Business School. His research publications focus on digital marketing and U.S. business history. Hafen holds both an MBA and a PhD from the University of Chicago.
