Biography

Professor Tomas McKelvey obtained his Electrical Engineering education at Lund University from 1987 to 1991 and received his PhD in Automatic Control from Linköping University in 1995. He held research and teaching positions at Linköping University from 1995 to 1999, becoming docent in 1999. From 1999 to 2000, he was a visiting researcher at the University of Newcastle in Australia. In 2000, he joined Chalmers University of Technology and has held a full professor position in Signal Processing since 2006. His research interests include model-based signal processing, statistical signal processing, system identification, and automatic control applications in radar systems, biomedical engineering, power systems, and automotive propulsion.
