Biography

Tomasz Pawel Czaja is an Assistant Professor at the University of Copenhagen, specializing in Food Analytics and Biotechnology. His research focuses on assessing food quality and improving food production processes to ensure future food security. He is particularly interested in implementing rapid spectroscopic techniques for monitoring food production processes, aiming to enhance food quality while minimizing the environmental footprint of food production. Dr. Czaja works on optimizing new and efficient spectroscopic methods and combines advanced data processing algorithms such as chemometrics to improve food screening methods. His expertise includes various spectroscopic techniques, including Raman spectroscopy, NIR spectroscopy, LF-NMR, and IR spectroscopy, and he has engaged in collaborations in key research areas over the past five years.
