Biography

Tomeico Faison is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Duke Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Faison has earned multiple degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a clinical doctoral degree in occupational therapy from Boston University, with an emphasis on social entrepreneurship. Her life mission is to assist millions of social entrepreneurs in leading initiatives to support underserved communities. She actively engages in podcasting to highlight the contributions of people of color in the field of occupational therapy.
