Biography

Tommy Licht Cederberg is a Senior Adviser focused on analytical chemical method development for the analysis of organic contaminants in food and animal feed, as well as food contact materials. His work involves identifying sources of contamination and assessing implications for human dietary intake. He is affiliated with the European Union reference laboratory for processing contaminants and serves as a national reference laboratory for food contact materials, particularly concerning halogenated persistent organic pollutants (POPs). Cederberg's expertise supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals, engaging with topics such as dietary intake calculations and high-resolution mass spectrometry related to food contaminants, including dioxins, PCBs, and brominated flame retardants. He is engaged in various projects and has significant collaboration experience, with a commitment to improving food safety and public health through research and scientific advisory roles.
