Biography

Tony N.K. Lynch completed his Ph.D. in Business Administration with a focus on Operations and Supply Chain Management from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He joined Penn State Harrisburg after serving as an assistant professor at Auburn University since Fall 2021. His academic career spans over a decade of teaching experience at institutions such as Rutgers Business School, Queens College, and the City University of New York. Lynch holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and an Executive MBA from Rutgers University. Lynch is a dedicated reviewer for the Group Organization Management Journal and serves as an advisor for student organizations like the Project Supply Chain Management Club and Young Americans for Freedom. His professional affiliations include the Academy of Management, the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, and the American Economic Association. His research interests lie in Gray Swan risks in supply chains, reverse logistics, supply chain disruptions, trade policy in global supply chains, and public policy concerning both national and global supply chains, as well as transportation logistics.
