Tony Q.S. Quek received degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology and a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has received numerous accolades for his research, including the Philip Yeo Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Research in 2008, the IEEE Signal Processing Society Young Author Paper Award in 2016, and the IEEE Communications Society Young Author Paper Award in 2020. He has been recognized as an IEEE Fellow and a Fellow of the Academy of Engineering Singapore, highlighting his impact in the field of communications theory and networked autonomous systems.
