Biography

Torben Munk Damgaard is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business and Sustainability at the University of Southern Denmark, specializing in interactive innovation and sustainable business development policies. His research interests encompass business marketing, leadership in companies, relationship management, and managing competence development for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Additionally, he has focused on cluster development, global sourcing, and facility management in construction projects. Torben has held various academic positions since the 1989, including serving as Head of the Department of Sociology, Environmental Business Economics, and as Head of Continuing Executive Education. He completed his Ph.D. in Business Administration at the Southern Denmark Business School in 1997 and has been actively involved in teaching PhD courses on relationship management and supervising research projects. His tenure at the University has seen him contribute significantly to the evaluation and facilitation of clusters and collaborations among SMEs.
