Biography

I am a Teaching Fellow in Creative and Media Enterprise, focusing my research on community, migration, culture, and happiness. I completed my PhD in Cultural Policy Studies at the Centre for Cultural and Media Policy Studies, funded by Warwick’s Chancellor’s International Scholarship, and achieved a distinction in my MA in Arts and Enterprise Development. My previous research examined migrants' experiences of happiness in new cultural settings, specifically exploring how these experiences are influenced by values and rituals inculcated by their culture. My future research interests will delve into the role of culture in post-migration experiences. In my teaching, I lead modules such as International Cultural Policy, Project Management for Cultural Enterprise, Culture and Global Sustainable Development, and Creativity and Enterprise. My efforts in teaching have been recognized with the Warwick Awards for Teaching Excellence (WATE) in 2023 and the CCMPS Award for achieving the highest overall marks in PGT courses during the academic year 2016-17.
