Dr. Tracy Wang

Biography

Tracy Wang is a Professor and Convenor of the Master of Commerce (Advanced) program at Australian National University. She has broad research interests in corporate governance, corporate information intermediaries, and financial and non-financial reporting regulations. Her research has been published in top-ranked journals, including the Journal of Accounting Economics and Contemporary Accounting Research. Tracy has also served as Deputy Editor for Accounting & Finance and worked as Guest Editor for a special issue on ESG: Accounting and Reporting in the International Journal of Accounting. As the founder and chair of the Accounting Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ) ESG Special Interest Group, she is committed to advancing research in the field. Additionally, Tracy has supervised over 30 research students and is known for her dedication to mentoring and supporting early to mid-career academics through her role with the ANU Network for Early Career Teachers, Academics, and Researchers (NECTAR). In recognition of her contributions, she received the ANU College of Business and Economics Award for Excellence in Research in 2025 and was awarded the ANU College of Business and Economics Prize for Excellence in Research Training in 2022.
