Biography

Tran Vo Long Dao completed his doctorate in dental medicine at the Université de Montréal and completed a specialty in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He currently divides his time between private practice and teaching at the Université de Montréal, where he is the head of the oral and maxillofacial surgery service. He also works at the Jewish General Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital. Tran Vo Long Dao is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a diplomat of the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, and a fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. His professional affiliations include membership in the Quebec Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has been involved in clinical activities in private practice as well as in hospital settings, providing supervision and guidance in postgraduate education, including the supervision of theses and directed studies.
